夏休みの陶芸体験

８月５日晴れ。

今日は夏休み真っ最中のHands Up!の生徒さんが２人、陶芸体験に来てくれました。

１人の子は陶芸をするのは全くの初めてということでドキドキわくわくのスタートでしたが、

次第に土を触る手つきもさまになり、

手びねりの作品１つ

そして電動ろくろの作品１つを頑張ってつくりました！

夏休みの宿題そして、おばあちゃん、お母さんへのプレセントだそうです。

２人が頑張ってつくってくれた世界にひとつの作品たち。

長く使えるいい器になるよう頑張って焼き上げたいと思います😊

毎日暑い日が続きますが、、

Hands Up! English Schoolの子供達は今日も元気。

日に日に肌は小麦色、夏！！！です。

そして先日は親子クラスの小さな生徒さんから素敵なプレゼントを頂きました。

ハンズアップで生徒さんの誕生日のお祝いをした際に撮った写真を

こんなに可愛いカードにして持ってきてくれました！

これは小学生１〜３年生のクラスでのBirthday Party!

”I’m hungry.”

Hello everyone. It’s the end of May and we’ve had about six to seven lessons for every class. All of our students, both children and adults, are studying hard and having fun.

We are really excited because twice this week two different mothers have told us that their children are using English on their own! That’s so great.

One of our “Kinder Kids” students’ mothers said that she was driving her car with her son in the back seat when all of a sudden her son said, “I’m hungry.” At first, the mother didn’t know what he was saying, but then she realized, oh, he’s speaking English!!!

The other mother of a “Mommy and Me” student said her daughter counts in English by herself at home and also speaks in English a lot, like colors and body parts. The mother said that she and her daughter were shopping when her daughter started saying “walk walk walk.” Amazing!!!

We’re really happy to hear these kinds of stories and even happier that our students are improving and making progress so early on in the school year. Great job everyone! Thank you.

GWも過ぎ・・・

こんにちは。

あっという間に緑も濃くなりもうすぐ梅雨ですね。。

気づけばHands Up! English SchoolもOPENからもうすぐ２ヶ月！

今日は朝から一階で制作しています。

山の辺でとってきた土を試してみたく、お皿を挽いてみました。

今日も２階からはBrian先生、生徒の皆さんとの

楽しそうなレッスンの声が聞こえてきます。

皆さんお孫さんもいらっしゃるほんとに元気な女性ばかり。

すごいなあ。私もそうでありたいです。

Hands Up! English School is OPEN

Hands Up! English School opened today!!!

Aya and I are very excited to start a new school  year. We had a great first day with great students. We look forward to starting all of our new classes this week.

We worked very hard to get ready to open and we think Hands Up! will be a wonderful place for us and for our students. We’d also like to thank all the people who helped us along the way. THANK YOU!!!

Hands Up! English School 本日オープンを迎えました！

スクールをオープンするにあたり、いろいろな準備や永遠に続くかと思ったペンキ塗り等、Brianも言ってるようにほんとに大変な日、めげそうな出来事もありましたが、たくさんの人に助けられついにこの日を迎えました。

息子も初めての一日保育で別れ際に大泣きはしましたが、頑張ってくれました。

遠路はるばる片道一時間をかけて、レッスンを受講しにきて下さった生徒さんもいらっしゃいました。

本当にありがとうございます。

小さな英会話スクールではありますが、皆さんに愛される場所になるよう、精一杯努めさせて頂きますので、これからもどうぞ末永く     Hands Up! English Schoolをよろしくお願いします！\(^-^)/ハンズアップ！
